Fields appear based on what has already been answered, so nobody is walked through questions that do not apply to them.
Long forms are abandoned forms
Every question you add costs you responses. The instinct is to ask everything while you have someone's attention, and the result is a form covering every scenario, where any given respondent finds most of it irrelevant. They scroll, they lose patience, they leave — and you learn nothing at all rather than something partial.
Conditional logic reverses that trade. The form starts short and reveals depth only where a respondent has signalled it is relevant. Somebody who says everything was fine is done in seconds; somebody reporting a problem is asked the follow-ups that let you fix it.

Common questions
Can a field depend on more than one answer?+
Yes. Rules are grouped with AND or OR, so a field can require several conditions or any one of them.
Does the page reload when a field appears?+
No. Visibility is evaluated as the respondent types or selects, so the form updates immediately.
Can I use conditions for anything besides showing fields?+
Yes. The same condition builder decides which action runs after submission — creating a case, sending an email or redirecting — and which success page variant is shown.
Is there anything conditions cannot do?+
Conditions are added after the form has been saved once, and the very first field cannot carry a rule, since there is no earlier answer to test.
